In a collection of intimate interviews with some of America’s most provocative black conservative thinkers, Uncle Tom takes a different look at being black in America. Featuring media personalities, ministers, civil rights activist, veterans, and a self-employed plumber, the film explores their personal journeys of navigating the world as one of America’s most misunderstood political and cultural groups: The American Black Conservative.

In this eye-opening film from Director Justin Malone and Executive Producer Larry Elder, Uncle Tom examines self-empowerment, individualism and rejecting the victim narrative. Uncle Tom shows us a different perspective of American History from this often ignored and ridiculed group.

Yes. Utterly true to my own experience – both now and back in the 50s, 60s, 70s. Given the title and the advertising, I expected more head shaking over bad reactions to independent thinking. There is, in fact, a certain amount of that. But instead, and predominantly, this video is the best, serious exploration of black race relations in the United States that I have ever seen. Stunning. Thorough. Extraordinarily moving. To all who put it together – Thank you!

This film is spot on, we are all created equal the the Lord God Almighty eyes. Harm is done when the “left” tell blacks they are suppressed and the American way of life is against them. It turns them into victims not victors! It cuts them off at their knees not building them up. We need to encourage, strengthen, and communicate to our fellow “Man” they can succeed in what ever they do, if they work hard enough, strong enough, and never let anybody tell “you can’t do it”

Any conservative running for office, or part of any campaign needs to see this film. I have never understood why conservatives have not tried to compete in urban communities. I understand not spending money on local candidates who are down by 30 points. But US Congressional and statewide races should be seeing Republican candidates in person. These are not, like a presidential race, governed by the electoral college. 5000 extra votes gained in an urban area is the same as 5000 extra votes gained in a rural area. Except, the urban area has more to gain.
Larry Elder has put together a broad swath of voices from all walks of life. The common denominator is that the left keeps trying to shut them up. For them cancel culture has been in full swing for decades. If you want to know how to survive it, learn from them!
I look forward to the next installment.
